1. 騎馬釘 騎馬訂是現時最普遍的一種書本裝訂方式，擁有快捷實惠，翻閱簡單的特點。 適用範圍：產品手冊、樣本冊、畫冊、合同文本等各種手冊 2. 線膠裝書刊 線膠裝是指用線將各頁穿在一起然後用膠水將印品的各頁固定在書脊上的一種裝訂方式。線膠裝的好處是用膠粘書芯的同時加上線固定，書翻開時可以完成全展現書內容。無線膠裝的平整度較為出色，目前，許多書刊都是採用這種裝訂方式。 適用範圍：主要適用於標書、文本資料，教材等書籍裝訂，是目前使用非常廣泛的裝訂方式。 3.圈裝(鐵圈、膠圈) 圈裝主要分為膠圈裝訂和鐵圈裝訂兩種，它的優點主要在於便於翻看與更換頁面。 適用範圍：適用於各種辦公資料、簡介、個人資料、商務用書，培訓資料、會議資料等
1.文字段落橫跨頁面 文字盡量不要存在於跨頁中間，會影響讀者閱讀。而且除了騎馬釘裝，其他爹裝都不能把所有文字都不能完全呈現出來。 2.設計/圖片沒有出血 不論是任何印刷文件都需要做出血位，但是出血位往往是大家都會忽略的。記得在印刷前為檔案設定3mm 出血位，所有貼邊的底色或者圖片都要延伸至出血位。 3.邊框設計 很多設計師都喜愛用邊框設計，但是邊框設計對印刷來說並不討好。當裁切上產生較大的誤差時，裝訂成書後就會做成參差不齊的效果。 4.頁碼同邊 頁碼同邊會令到近釘裝邊的頁碼嵌入到釘裝邊內, 就算頁碼離邊有一定的距離, 效果也不會太理想。
1.騎馬釘書的優點 價格最實惠：騎馬釘裝是替比用膠裝更合乎成本效益的印書方式，不但保持了類似的用途，而且它生產快比較快，非常適合最後一刻才訂好稿的印刷品。特別適用是數量小、尺寸小，用途有限的書刊，例如報告和活動計劃。 能180度打開：如果要把一本膠裝書保持打開狀態，會感受到一定的阻力。而且會在中間打開，要做成平坦的效果不容易。而騎馬釘裝書就通常較不容易受到此問題影響。 2.印騎馬釘書注意事項 頁數限制：由於一張紙可形成四頁，因此每次印書的頁數都要是四的倍數。多於48頁的小冊子（不同紙張厚度，效果都會有不同差異，現按128g來估計）將趨於稍微彈出而不能平面打開。印騎馬釘書的頁數最多隻可以是 96頁，而且要用128g或以下的紙，不然的話會太厚釘裝不了。 成品書邊：由於騎馬訂裝書由多張紙對摺製成，所以在對後會發現書邊會有不齊的情況出現，而在出貨前都會吧參差不齊的部份切齊。紙張有一定的厚度，一本64頁的小冊子印刷好、「飛邊」以後。封面第一張紙和最後一張紙的闊度，相距了14張紙的厚度，即使印刷和摺書工序都完美印出。紙的厚度都會令到頁碼和書眉走位，所以頁數愈多偏差便愈嚴重。
1.膠裝書注意事項 專業的外表：印書要印出專業的感覺，騎馬釘裝是替比用膠裝更合乎成本效益的印書方式，不但保持了類似的用途，而且它生產快比較快，非常適合最後一刻才訂好稿的印刷品。特別適用是數量小、尺寸小，用途有限的書刊，例如報告和活動計劃。 頁數限制不大：由於膠裝書是有膠邊組裝的，所以可以組裝的頁數會比騎馬釘書多。膠裝書可印的頁數是取決於紙張的厚度，如果用80g 的紙張，書本的頁數最多可以接近500pp。 2.印膠裝書注意事項 不可以平坦打開：如前所述，膠裝書傾向於時常保持關閉的狀態，並且不會平放在桌子或書架上，所以膠裝書的展示性會比較低一點。要展示得好，就要用小小技巧。 價錢比較貴：對於打算多次閱讀的出版物，印膠裝書是一個不錯的選擇。但是對於使用時間較短和頁數較少的商品，使用騎馬訂裝書會更為經濟。
1.精裝書注意事項 華麗的外表：精裝書的成品一般都會比較厚、手感比較豐富，由於封面比較硬所以不會像膠裝書般容易彎曲。而且對書本內的紙張保護性也會比較強。如果想令到書本更有體面，可以用布面、皮面來代替紙張面來做書。 收藏價值高：印書有時候是希望可以讓書本可以長時間使用，甚至可以點綴家中的書櫃，而精裝書的印刷方式正正就是為了收藏而存在的，如校刊、結婚相簿、 2.精裝書注意事項 封面設計：由於精裝書在印書時，封面會有一個書坑。所以在設計封面時，要注意不會把重要文字、邊框太貼近書坑，不然的話印刷出來會有不太美觀的情況出現。 精裝訂裝方式：印書精裝書有三種不同的訂裝書方式，無線、鎖線、蝴蝶精裝。無線精裝在做稿時要比鎖線及蝴蝶精裝注意多一點，就是無線訂裝書有10mm 要做膠裝邊。所以不可以把圖片及文字放在10mm 的膠裝邊範圍內。而鎖線及蝴蝶精裝則是不需要理會膠裝邊，而蝴蝶精裝是可以完全平坦打多。
不論是那一種的釘裝方式都會有裁切誤差問題，如果每一頁都有頁碼，印刷裁切後會發現沒有辦法讓每一頁的頁碼與書邊距離保持一致。基於印刷切割過程會產生1-2mm的誤差，因此組裝成書後會發現每頁的頁碼位置會有不同。 如果想頁碼的誤差沒有那麼明顯，建議把頁碼與書邊的距離設定在5mm或以上，視覺上會較易發現誤差問題。 不單單是頁碼會出現這個情況，邊框設計也會出現這個情況。與頁碼同理，邊框設計也需要有5mm或以上的粗度，否則在視覺上產生的誤差會比頁碼更明顯
